Long time since my last journal entry! For anyone interested, I'm working with an indie group called Specter Works (grand spankin new name) and you can see more of our stuff on tumblr here: specterworks.tumblr.com/

I will also be doing a livestream on Tuesday and Sunday starting 4:00PM GMT/8:00AM PT/11:00AM ET for around two hours.

I'm always happy to get requests/commissions. Sometimes I get these amazing requests that I'm completely excited about doing. But if there is one thing that utterly baffles me, it's when people ask me to do edits.

This might come as a surprise, but only very few of my sprites are actually edits. I sprite from scratch. When I do, it is when I'm most productive and creative and when I absolutely adore spriting. I can sprite from scratch, which means you could ask me to sprite anything you want, something that is completely unique.

So why in the world would anyone want to ask me to create edits?

I am truly perplexed.

Yes, most of my sprites are made from scratch. I don't see the point of creating edits, unless they're silly little things like Awsmring and Trolling, both of which are obviously edits from the Poring. Sometimes I'll use small portions of existing sprites to reduce the workload and as a result, the cost.

No, you can't have anything that requires purchasing for free. I'm sorry, I know you're probably broke, but so am I. I will have sales from time to time however, feel free to check back then.

Sorry, but at the moment I can't work for your server. I'm already in the employment of one, so to speak. I prefer to give that server what attention I can.

Programs I use are... PhotoShop and ImageReady for pixel art. If you would like to learn how to sprite or draw in general, please refer to google.com for a wide range of available tutorials ranging from beginner to intermediate.

I'll consider joining your server if... it meets certain requirements and I happen to have time. Lately though, I haven't had much time for anything.

Yes, I take requests! Which I may or may not provide for free. The idea behind requesting a sprite from me is that I get to them when I have time (which means it can take a while or it can not happen at all). Even if I end up selling it, the sprite will be considerably cheaper than it would be if you were to commission me directly.
